How to make sure your event is safe and legal.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, many of you will have had to cancel or postpone your fundraising events. We know this will be disappointing, but we also know that many of you will still want to get involved, keep active and have fun, and be assured we are here to support you in whatever you want to do during this difficult time.

Watch this space for our brand new virtual A-Z of fundraising ideas and remember we are here to help. Thank you so much for all your amazing hard work, enthusiasm and continued commitment, we are so grateful for all you are doing at this very difficult and challenging time.

When organising your charity event it is important to think about the health and safety of staff, volunteers, participants and members of the public, and to do your best to minimise any risks.

Download our Children & Young Persons Safeguarding Principles at Events factsheet a for handy checklist of areas you should review when organising an event.

We are very grateful for your support and are delighted that you are thinking about organising a fundraising event, but the Cystic Fibrosis Trust cannot accept liability for any fundraising activity you undertake.
